WHEATLAND, MO (January 20th, 2015) - 2014 Lucas Oil MLRA Champion Chad Simpson and his Brinkman Motorsports team put together an amazingly consistent season culminating with the series championship. It was a first for the driver and team. Through the early part of the off-season the team hinted they would like to return, but remained non-committal until recently. Late last week on Simpson's website, www.ChadSimpsonRacing.com he announced their plans to vie for a second straight Lucas Oil MLRA title.

WHEATLAND, MO (January 8th, 2015) - Dan Robinson,Series Director for the Lucas Oil MLRA and General Manager at Lucas Oil Speedway has been announced as the 2014 Racing Promotion Monthly Great Plains Region Promoter of the Year and joins a prestigious class of promoters in the running for National Auto Racing Promoter of the Year. This honor comes from nomination by peers within the industry and is voted on by promoters from all over the country.

Wheatland, MO (January 8th, 2014) - Lucas Oil Speedway and Lucas Oil MLRA Officials are gearing up for a busy slate of January trade shows prior to kicking off the on-track action in 2015. It all gets started this weekend with the Springfield Boat and RV Show. Other events include the 2015 Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Midget Nationals Trade Show, Kansas City Boat and Sport Show and Bodee's Racers Auction.

Travis Dickes and Scott Lewis each captured the honor the past two seasons. Wheatland, MO (December 18th, 2014) - With an extremely successful PRI Trade Show in the rear view mirror, the Lucas Oil MLRA is pleased to announce a pair of new dates to the 2015 schedule. The series will break new ground in the state of Iowa with a pair of standalone $10,000 to win races at Farley Speedway in Farley, Iowa on Monday, August 3rd, and West Liberty Raceway in West Liberty, Iowa on Tuesday, August 4th. Keith Simmons, owner of Simmons Promotions, has overseen each of those two tracks along with Dubuque Fair Speedway for the last 14 years.
